All About Thinking

Welcome to Room One’s Homepage 2010

We are learning to be, the best that we can be.

Room 1 is taught by Mrs Brajkovich. We are an amazing class of 25 Year 5 and 6 children. We are learning to work hard and have fun while still adhering to our school values. We want our class to be the best so we created a class treaty to help us. Here are the things we have to remember:

1. Put you hand up to speak.

2. Listen to everyone politely.

3. Talk care of our own and school property

4. Keep our classroom tidy

5. Treat others as you want to be treated yourself.

AND always follow the School Mission Statement and Values

Our day begins with whole school karakia, himene and fitness. Sometimes it’s running, sometimes it’s jump jam.

We do news then we then do our maths. We work in groups to improve our number skills. Everyday we have yummy fruit.

After morning interval we do writing and reading, as well as spelling and handwriting as part of our reading rotation.

After lunch we work on topic, values, arts or Maori. We go to the library on Monday afternoon and assembly on Friday afternoon.

Our day is very full!
