All About Thinking

Welcome to Room 5's Webpage

Room 5 is a Year 2 class of 20 students and is taught by Miss Liz Ross.

Being a Year 2 class, literacy and numeracy are a major focus of classroom programs.

Our term theme also provides us with opportunities to investigate and learn about ourselves and the world we live in.

Our school day begins with school assembly and fitness.

Mornings are filled with literacy and numeracy activities including sound study; news; shared and independent writing reading and math.

Afternoons for term one includes daily swimming; library; music and art.

Fridays are our investigation days, where we will be focusing on our term themes as well as on topics of student interest.

On Wednesday afternoons Mrs Victoria Gates is in the classroom with Miss Ross being released as the Deputy-Principal.
