Welcome to Room 5's Webpage

Room 5 is a Year 2 class of 23 students and is taught by Miss Liz Ross.

Being a Year 2 class, literacy and numeracy are a major focus of classroom programs. As you will see below much of our day is filled with literacy and numeracy.

Things That Happen in Room 5

We begin our school day with school karakia and himene.

Mornings are filled with literacy and is when we do our reading and writing. This term we are also swimming at 11.30.

In the afternoons we do our math, Wordworks and Handwriting.

It is a very busy day filled with literacy and numeracy so we have our unit activities on Friday mornings after writing.

Wednesday morning Miss Ross is released as Deputy Principal and we are very lucky to have Miss Nicola teach us.
