What happens in Room 7

Our timetable is flexible but usually begins with oral and written language.  There is time for children to eat fruit before interval starts.

After play we share read a book as a whole class, then break into groups for more intense reading at the children’s correct level.  Most of our maths work is about working with numbers but we will be comparing lengths, weighing and giving directions. 

In the afternoon everyone will be improving their swimming skills.
