Welcome to Room 7

Room 7 is taught by Mrs Clarke. We are a fantastic class of 20 Year 1 and 2 children. We are learning to work hard and have fun while still adhering to our school values. We want our class to be the best we can be so we created a class treaty to help us.

What happens in Room 7

Our day begins with whole school karakia, himene and notices.

 

In the morning is our literacy block. We do Word Works and Writing. Then our reading rotation. Whaea Karen helps us.

 

After play we do whole school daily fitness.

We do our Maths after this. We are really good at counting.

 

After lunch we go swimming, we are all very confident in the pool.

 

We do our topic after swimming which includes values, science, Maori and library.

 

Someone gets to take Ted Bear home everyday.
